Frustrated to Fan: My Mailchimp Comeback Story

Hey everyone! Let’s talk about email marketing. When I first started my business in 2019, I knew I needed a way to connect with customers and get them coming back for more.

But the whole “marketing” thing? Total mystery. I rocked at doing hair and loved vendor events, but I wanted a way to reach people beyond those weekends.

My goal? Build an email list so folks could find my online store and buy my products even when I wasn’t at a market.

Mailchimp seemed like the answer — all this amazing stuff to help my small business thrive. I was sold!

Except… then came the confusion. Mailchimp had features galore, and for a newbie, it was overwhelming. I tried to figure it out, but honestly, it went over my head. Back then, things weren’t quite as user-friendly as they are now.

Fast forward to today, and guess what? I’m giving Mailchimp another shot. Here’s why:

  • Scheduling is a lifesaver: No more scrambling to send emails at the last minute. I can set up campaigns in advance and let them fly on autopilot.
  • Social media import: Got email addresses scattered across different platforms? Mailchimp can suck them all…
