Hey there, everyone! It’s your friendly neighborhood hairstylist, Tamara. Now, some of you regulars might have noticed a shift in things lately. While I still absolutely adore the creativity and connection that comes with being a stylist, my hands are itching to tackle a different kind of transformation — the business kind!

Don’t get me wrong, I’m not leaving the beauty world behind entirely. It’s in my blood! It’s been my passion for years and seeing the joy on a client’s face after a new cut or color is truly unmatched.

What truly excites me is empowering others. Guiding aspiring stylists, helping them launch their careers — that’s the kind of transformation I crave now.

But lately, that inner accountant in me has been getting restless. You know, the part that gets a thrill from a perfectly balanced spreadsheet? Balancing the books? Sign me up. But the endless stream of paperwork and the social media hustle? Yes!

That’s where this new chapter comes in. Here’s the deal: I’m stepping back from the styling chair and diving headfirst into the fascinating world of salon management. Budgets, marketing campaigns, mentoring new stylists — these are the things that get me pumped these days.

Think of it like this: I’m not closing the salon; I’m just flipping the script. We’re going to be rebranding, creating a fresh new space where stylists can thrive and unleash their creativity. I’ll be the one behind the scenes, making sure the numbers are singing, the marketing is on point, and that everything runs smoothly.

Now, I know what you’re thinking — “But Tamara, what about my hair?” I hear you loud and clear. You’ve all become like family, and hearing

“Do you have any openings?” is a familiar comfort. But for now, I need to focus on building a foundation that’s rock-solid, with zero frizz. It’s time to get everything in order, make sure the business is running like a well-oiled machine.

It pains me to leave my clients behind, but trust me, this isn’t goodbye. It’s a “see you later.” This transition will allow me to build a salon that’s even better, a place where stylists can flourish and continue to bring their A-game to every cut and color.

So, stay tuned! This exciting new chapter is just unfolding, and I can’t wait to share it with all of you. In the meantime, keep an eye out for updates on the rebranding and maybe even a chance to be part of this fresh start!
